Yes, you read it correctly. Its possible to hide partition which contains your personal data and in this post you’ll learn How we can hide partition in Windows 8 without using any kind of third party software.
Note: This method works same for other Windows OS like windows 7, windows xp etc.
Method For to Hide Disk Partition in Windows 8
The method for to hide Disk partition in Windows 8 is given below
1) First Press Win+R keys from your computer keyboard together. This will launchRun dialog box.
2) Now write CMD in Run dialog box to launch command line interface.
3) Now write Diskpart in cmd and then press Enter.
4)Write list Volume and press enter, this command will list the all drive partition in your system.
5)Now suppose you want to hide partition for this see the corresponding volume number. For to select partition write Select Volume 6(volume number) .
6) After right above step enter Remove letter G ( drive letter, write the drive letter of  selected partition in this case G). By this your Partition will be hidden and cant be seen in My computer.
7) For to unhide hidden partition , write Assign letter G in cmd and press Enter. This command  will unhide the partition.
